Cookie Policy and Do Not Sell My Information

This page explains what Solitaire.cx stores in your browser, why it is there and how to remove it. It also sets out our position on selling personal information. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. How the game uses your browser

Most of what the game saves is kept in your browser using local storage rather than in cookies. Local storage is a standard browser feature that lets a site remember information on your own device. We use it so the game can do simple, expected things, such as remember your settings, keep the deal you are in the middle of and track your local statistics. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you take an action that needs it, such as submitting a leaderboard score.

2. What we store and why

3. Cookies from sign in services

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies as part of the sign in process. Those cookies are controlled by Google under its own policies, not by us. If you never sign in with them, they are not involved.

4. Technical logs

Like most websites, Solitaire.cx may keep ordinary server logs so the site can be delivered, protected and repaired when something breaks. Those logs can include the requested URL, request time, browser type and IP address. They are separate from the local game data stored in your browser.

5. How to clear what is stored

You can clear the data the game keeps on your device at any time through your browser settings, usually under a heading like clear browsing data, cookies or site data. Clearing it will reset your local settings, your current deal and your local statistics. The game will still work normally afterward and will simply start fresh the next time you open it.

6. Do not sell or share my personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for money or for cross context behavioral advertising. If a future feature would count as selling or sharing under a law such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, we will add a clear way to opt out before we turn it on. If you have any question about this, or want to make a request about your information, write to [email protected].

7. Changes to this page

We may update this page as the site changes or the law requires. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
